Each year, Tarra Simmons brings our community together to celebrate the people who keep fighting for justice, often without recognition, without power, and without giving up.

The Champions of Justice honors the neighbors, advocates, organizers, leaders, and everyday people across the 23rd Legislative District who show us what it means to stand up for one another and create a more just community.

Now in its sixth year, this gathering is a celebration of the people doing the work and the community that makes that work possible.

Join us as we recognize this year’s Champions of Justice, share in their stories, and come together around the belief that justice is something we build together.
